A cage style corset, crafted with a pleated knit waistband and decorative braided bone channels. Fine golden chains are draped into delicate scalloped trim at the garment’s hem. The garment fastens at the rear with metal eyelets and lurex lacing. This style was originally part of eLai London’s ‘Perfectly Suited’ collection, inspired by elements of masculine tailoring.
eLai London was founded by designer Eva Lai in 2012, following her graduation from London College Of Fashion’s Contour Fashion degree with first class honours. The brand’s products were made to order, with designer Eva undertaking all product design, develop and construction by herself. The designs were recognisable for their unusual materials and playfulness.
