A lightweight chemisette, a type of half-blouse worn for additional modesty and decoration under plunging necklines. The garment is made from a lightweight cotton muslin, and fastens with a cotton tape that ties around the waist. It is trimmed with a handmade lace trim at the neckline, and profuse whitework embroidery in floral patterns. This chemisette is entirely hand stitched.
