An intricate bridal garter. A silk satin channel encases elastic, and is profusely embellished with layers of embroidered tulle and chantilly lace, layered for a textural 3D effect. Delicate sequins and glass beads scatter the surface  of these textiles. The garter has a gold metal clasp at its side, engraved with the brand name ‘Cristina Aiell’. This garter was made to measure and created as a gift for the occasion of Karolina Laskowska’s wedding, and was worn for the ceremony.

Cristina Aielli founded her eponymous lingerie brand in 2015, following her attendance of the 2015 Oxford Conference of Corsetry. Her lingerie creations of illusion tulle and appliquéd lace and embroidery gained a vast internet following, prompting her to found a brand. Cristina graduated from the Koefia International Academy of Haute Couture & Art Of Costume in Rome, later going on to a achieve a first class honours degree in lingerie design in Milan.
