A corset with a dramatic sweetheart neckline. The centre panel of sleek black satin is framed with contrasting grey cotton twill, and embellished with a black satin bow. The corset fastens with a concealed steel busk, hidden behind a satin placket. This corset was originally designed for burlesque icon Dita Von Teese.
Velda Lauder graduated from the College of Marketing & Design in Dublin, Ireland, going on to win the Smirnoff Young Designer Of The Year award. This platform launched her first corset collection ‘Vanity’ in 1997. Velda went on to design for numerous celebrity figures and other design houses, including Courtney Love, Pete Burns, Karl Lagerfeld and Victoria’s Secret.
