Date: c. 2015

Origin: UK

Fabric: Nylon crin, French lace, duchesse satin

Brand: Sian Hoffman

A cupped corset incorporating cups and hip gussets of red duchesse satin, with a sheer nylon mesh body overlaid with symmetrically placed French leavers lace. The garment is structured with spiral and flat steel bones throughout, with underwires lending extra support to the cups. It fastens with a steel busk at the centre front, and eyelets and lacing at the rear.

Sian Hoffman has been creating luxury, innovative corsetry since 2005, fusing contemporary and fetish inspired design with traditional corsetry techniques. Each garment is hand made by the design herself, from the inception of unique patterns for each client to hand finished embellishment. Hoffman’s designs have three aims: to modify the body and create a dramatic silhouette, to inspire sensual empowerment and confidence, and to enhance dominance and a submissive effect on others. The brand’s designs blur the boundaries between fashion and fetishism, and have become a favourite corset brand of numerous celebrities and high-fashion print publications.
