Date: c. 1950s

Origin: United States

Fabric: Nylon lace

A four strap suspender belt of nylon tulle and black lace overlay. Black satin ribbon is stitched vertically to the garment interior, providing a graphic contrast through the sheer fabric. A delicate narrow lace trims the bottom edge of the belt. The 4 suspender straps are made of a black elastic, with silver toned adjusters and suspender grips. A small piece of elastic at the centre back of the garment provides some fit flexibility, fastening with an offset set of hooks and eyes.

A pattern of this garment can be purchased here.
