A long dressing gown in a tightly woven cotton. It is cut with a high neck and full length sleeves, offering full body coverage, and fastens through the entire length of the centre front opening with shell buttons and stitched buttonholes. The bodice and sleeve cuffs are both intricately embellished with machine stitched tucks and profuse whitework embroidery, with a scalloped edge embroidered trim at the bustline and neckline. The tuck detailing also extends through the entire length of the garment’s front, framing the button fastening.
