Origin: Romania

Fabric: Embroidered tulle

Brand: I. D. Sarrieri

This sheer gown has been created from carefully pieced from a mix of machine embroidered and plain tulle, with the beige tone appearing sheer against pale skin tones. The motifs of the embroidered tulle have been carefully cut, pattern matched and pieced together around the garment’s waist and bustline to effectively showcase the motifs within the embroidered pattern. The full skirt is created from a mix of scalloped edge tulle with raw cut plain tulle godets. The neckline, underarm and back of the gown are all elasticated for a more flexible fit. The elastic shoulder straps are adjustable with gold components, and feature hooks that can be detached for ease of dressing. The garment is entirely machine stitched, using mostly overlock and fine zigzag stitches. The retail price as of 2019 is €995,00.

I.D. Sarrieri was founded in 1992 in Bucharest, Romania, by Iulia Dobrin (from whose intials the brand name was derived). The brand specialises in luxurious fabrics such as French lace and silks and manufactures its products in its own factory in Romania.
