The leg edges are bound in beige silk, with a popper fastening at the gusset. The neckline of the bodysuit is profusely embellished with hand sewn Swarovski crystal chains, large Swarovski gems and glass bugle beads. This bodysuit is part of the brand’s ‘Luxury Edition’ range, characterised by the intricate hand embellishment. The accompanying packaging features luxe branding such as gold foiling, heart cut outs and an illustrated lining.

Bebaroque was founded in July 2007 by Mhairi McNicol and Chloe Patience, having both completed their BA(hones) in Textiles at Glasgow School of Art, followed by Masters degrees in Textiles & Fashion at GSA and Edinburgh College of Art respectively. The brand began with a focus on legwear before moving into coordinating bodywear styles such as bodysuits and dresses. The designs were characterised by Chloe’s intricate illustrations and Mhairi’s detailed hand embroidery. All products were hand made in Scotland. The brand closed in 2013.
