Sparklewren left an indelible mark on the corset community, and this exhibition could only show a fraction of that impact. This page is intended to keep that legacy going, with the opportunity to make your own interpretations of the designs, and to share the images of your own Sparklewren corset in the gallery below.
We have worked closely with Caroline Woollin and Jenni Hampshire to digitise a portion of the Sparklewren pattern archive, and to grade them to a larger size range. You can find these patterns in our online store.
Create your own beautiful corsets using iconic Sparklewren created patterns! Although we recommend these patterns for individuals with some sewing and corset making experience (patterns are provided without instructions or seam allowances), there are options to suit different ability levels: from minimalist cinchers, to multi-panelled Bird’s Wing styles. Click the thumbnails below to be taken to our online store.
You can also purchase a digital exhibition catalogue, suitable for both printing and e-reading. This beautiful 168 page document is an incredible resource, packed full of beautiful images and insightful commentary, perfect for any corset lover’s digital library.
A range of postcards and photographic prints are available to purchase here.
All profits from the sale of patterns and catalogues go to The Underpinnings Museum, helping to keep this entire website free access and allowing us to bring you exciting new objects and exhibitions. You can also support the website through a one-off PayPal donation, or by joining our Patreon page.
